Finding overpayments… is a matter of looking in the right place!

| First of all, we gain an understanding of your purchasing procedures in order to identify the best approach. We then analyse your accounts payables, and if need be, the associated contracts, in order to identify overpayments. |
Types of overpayments:

• Payments in excess or double payments,
• Price discrepancies,
• Forgotten discounts,
• Deposits not refunded,
• Typing errors,
• Advances on contracts not deducted,
• Foreign currency recording errors.
• Etc.
Types of assignments offered by CASHTRACK:

1. Double payments analysis
| We analyse your accounts payable with CashTracker®, our proprietary software. It gives us a report showing all potential double payments. Every one of these potential double payments is then analysed by our consultants: they assemble a file for each supplier for whom one or more double payments have been validated. We then recover the corresponding amounts after your approval. We use COVERIS® (Editor XRT) to hep us tracking our recovery operations. |
2. Contract compliance analysis
| Depending on the nature of your contracts and of the type of purchases you make, our consultants will evaluate the situation and the potential for cost recoveries. If any given line of research looks promising, we shall discuss it with your project manager and start the actual audit with his approval. We shall analyse the corresponding invoices and their agreement with the corresponding contracts. If we identify overpayment, we proceed in the same way as described in the “Double payment analysis”: we validate the amount due by the vendor, put a file together and recover the amount at stakes. |
3. Overpayments outside the scope of the two previous analysis
| When we suspect losses which do not fit into the framework of the two previous analyses, we explore every possible avenue, with all the tools a tour disposal in order to identify the overpayments. We validate them and, if possible, recover them. |
4. Process review
At the end of each assignment, we draw up a report listing all overpayments and, if possible, their causes. Should you require, we can accompany your teams in the process of correcting the corresponding procedures. In order to do this, we help your staff to establish a precise mapping of the risks, then we help them evaluate the solutions to cover those risks.
We do not at any moment in time substitute ourselves for your staff: our objective is that they view the procedures as their own in order to ensure their permanence and their evolution with the changing environment faced by every company nowadays.
Each of these assignments can be carried out independently of the others.
